A group of dedicated individuals working tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure that Palm Valley School thrives and continues to provide the best possible education for our students. Comprised of leaders from a variety of professional backgrounds who bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the table, the Palm Valley School (PVS) Board of Trustees (BOT) is a driving force that shapes the school’s present and guides our future.
The 2024-25 BOT is made of up 10 active members and one emeritus (non-voting) member. Trustees have various affiliations and connections to our Firebird community (ex., parents, alumni, community partners). All Trustees are committed to stewardship of the institution, have a fiduciary responsibility to the school, and agree to carry out the mission and values established by the institution and the community it serves.
The PVS BOT is governed by bylaws (updated in academic year 2023-24) and meets monthly throughout the academic year with an annual meeting scheduled each May. The current BOT members are involved in committee work, with an established Executive Committee, along with other committees that meet either monthly or on an ad hoc basis per the bylaws.
